Before the dawn

Thinking about how you're leaving in less than a week, before our 14th, just leaves my heart squeezing itself. I cannot imagine going through 24 days of you not being here, of my weekends being void of you, of my nights being empty without hearing your voice. I don't like how dependent I am on you, but I know I can be strong when the situation arises. I must, and I will be strong. I cannot wait for the day you're back home in my arms, even though you haven't even left. Babe, I miss you so badly already. :'(
